The Butterfly: The Al-Anon/Alateen Newletter for the Colorado Area

 

What is the Butterfly?

The Butterfly is published three times yearly, before each Assembly, with the mission to communicate among Al-Anon members for Assemblies, to inform them about related activities throughout the Colorado Area and to share information from the World Service Conference (WSC) through our delegate’s report.

Butterfly Subscriptions

The Butterfly is sent out via email to all subscribing members as well as the Area World Service Committee (AWSC), which is made up of Area Officers, Coordinators, Event Chairs, Service Center Liaisons, Past Delegates, and District Representatives.

An annual subscription can be requested for The Butterfly to be mailed to an address or PO Box. Contact the Butterfly Coordinator at butterfly@al-anon-co.org for more information.

 

Submissions to the Butterfly

Members’ submissions offer help and hope for the families and friends of alcoholics. Al-Anon and Alateen members can share their challenges, insights, and progress along their path of self-discovery and spiritual growth. The newsletter can also include topics for discussion at meetings, service experiences as well as recovery poetry, photographs and art.

Submissions must be received as shown to meet the deadline as to be emailed out prior to the Assembly dates
